Council On Aging (CoA) - (Your Source & Voice on Senior Issues) A "senior-friendly" community supports independence, dignity and quality of life for its aging adults. CoA works to transform Charlotte-Mecklenburg into a senior-friendly community through education and advocacy. We need subject matter expert volunteers and community-oriented citizens to participate on our Task Forces that focus on issues related to Housing, Caregiving and Transportation. Friendship Trays- Volunteers needed to prepare and deliver meals on a daily basis. It takes 95 volunteers each weekday to help prepare the trays and deliver the meals to our recipients.
