Leadership Charlotte is proud to co-sponsor a two-day, collaborative Leadership Conference featuring Peter Block.  Block is the author of Community: The Structure of Belonging.  "The essential challenge," writes Block, "is to transform isolation and self interest within our communities into connectedness and caring for the whole."  Experts say "Block explores the nature of collective transformation and offers us concrete ways to move forward."

     Celebrating 30 Days of Service
     April 2009

     Throughout the month of April, teams of Leadership Charlotte alums will fan out across the community to provide hundreds of hours of community service.  We need you!  Sign-ups via the website will be available soon.  Go to 30days.leadershipcharlotte.org.  As leaders, we know you will engage your fellow alumni, your offices, and your families to join you on a project - there is room for everyone! The website will be interactive and easy to use.  Projects will vary in time commitment and skills needed.  Plan to reach out to your classmates, friends, families and plan to sign up together!
