Jen Algire (Class 23) has been named Chief of Staff to the CEO of Premier, Inc.  Premier, based in Charlotte, is one of the largest hospital alliances in the country.  Premier

Karen Calder (Class 30) has accepted a position with the Charlotte Housing Authority as the Director of Client Relations.  Karen will lead the Moving Forward program which is an initiative designed to foster community collaborations and implement innovative strategies to move public housing residences to self-sustainability.  Charlotte Housing Authority

Arissa El-Amin (Class 21) has been named Program Director for Crossroads Charlotte. Arissa will be working with the Learning Network and guiding programming designed to engage the broader community.  Crossroads Charlotte

Shawn Saulsberry (Class 27) has been named Senior Testing Manager, Information Technology, Bank of America. Shawn will lead a team of 40+ to ensure the quality of information technology applications in more than 6,000 Bank of America Banking Centers, nationwide.  Bank of America

Rachel Smith (Class 30) has been named Interim Executive Director of Community Health Services. Community Health Services provides affordable, accessible, and high quality health care to those that are uninsured, underinsured or lacking access to healthcare.  Community Health Services

Richard D. Thomas (Class 28) has been elected as a steering committee member of the Mecklenburg Gay & Lesbian Political Action Committee, known as MeckPAC. MeckPAC is a non-partisan, non-profit organization allied with EqualityNC on the state level and the Human Rights Campaign on the federal level.  MeckPAC.org
