The Legacy Awards honor Charlotte leaders who are creating lasting change and measurable difference in our community.  We will be honoring the recipients at a breakfast on May 8, 2014.

Lifetime Achievement Award
This individual has demonstrated a commitment over time to serving the community in various capacities. He/She has made significant contributions, both personally and professionally, to the betterment of Charlotte and serves as a role model in volunteer community leadership.

Unsung Hero Award

This individual works quietly behind the scenes for the good of the community and demonstrates leadership through dedication and service to the Charlotte-area community. He/She contributes time and talent, though not publicly heralded.

Newcomer of the Year Award

This individual, who has lived in Charlotte less than five years, has actively sought opportunities to improve the quality of life in our community. He/She has made significant contributions, both personally and professionally, to the betterment of Charlotte.

Community Service Award

This organization has enriched and improved the quality of life in our community through creativity and innovation in community service.

Schley R. Lyons Circle of Excellence Award

This Leadership Charlotte Graduate has demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities in keeping with the ideals of Leadership Charlotte.
